USM Algiers held to a draw by OC Safi

USM Algiers were held to a draw this evening by OC Safi on the pitch of the Stade du 5 Juillet 1962, in the semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup. In front of a large crowd, the Red and Black were hoping to take a strong advantage in the race for qualification. This result now forces USMA to seek qualification away from home. The Algiers side will need to be more clinical and solid to secure a place in the final of this prestigious African competition.
