13th Matchday of Ligue 1 Mobilis: A Day Full of Twists and Turns

The 13th matchday of the championship delivered its share of surprises and changes in the standings.

MC Alger (1st, 25 points) suffered their first defeat of the season at the 18 February Stadium in Ouargla, losing to MB Rouissat (10th, 16 points) thanks to a goal by Merzoughi (27’).

ASO Chlef (13th, 13 points) won the western derby against MC Oran (2nd, 21 points) at the Mohamed Boumezrag Stadium, with Sadahine scoring the winning goal (17’).

At the 5 July Stadium, USM Alger (5th, 19 points) and ES Ben Aknoun (9th, 17 points) played out an entertaining 2–2 draw. Khaldi (17’) and Loucif (45’+2) scored for USMA, while Saad (27’) and Oukali (69’) replied for Ben Aknoun.

USM Khenchela (4th, 20 points) defeated MC El Bayadh (16th, 3 points) 2–1 at the Zakaria Medjdoub Stadium, thanks to a brace from Itoga (41’, 71’), with El Orfi pulling one back for the hosts (87’).

CS Constantine (7th, 18 points) beat Paradou AC (14th, 13 points) 2–0 at the Chahid Hamlaoui Stadium, with goals from Moaki (80’) and Omoyele (90’+4).

ES Sétif (12th, 15 points) won the big match against JS Kabylie (11th, 15 points) 1–0 at the 8 May 1945 Stadium, as Boubekeur (73’) secured victory for the Sétif side.

JS Saoura (6th, 19 points) came from behind to defeat ES Mostaganem (15th, 9 points) 3–2 at the 20 August Stadium in Béchar. Bentaleb (6’), Boualleg (30’) and Boutiche (45’) scored for Saoura, while Motrani (58’) and Boulkaboul (84’) reduced the deficit for Mostaganem.

At the Nelson Mandela Stadium, CR Belouizdad (8th, 17 points) snatched a dramatic 3–2 victory over O. Akbou (3rd, 21 points), with goals from Boussouar (29’) and Benhamouda (89’, 90’+2), in response to strikes by Zamoum (8’) and Gherbi (68’)
