The draw ceremony for the 2025-2026 professional football league fixture list was held this morning, in the presence of professional club presidents and their representatives, in an atmosphere marked by seriousness and respect.
The event began with the performance of the Algerian national anthem, followed by a minute of silence in tribute to the supporters who passed away at the 5 July Olympic Stadium during the final match of last season between Mouloudia d'Alger and NC Magra.
In his opening speech, the President of the Professional Football League, Mr. Mohamed El Amine Mesloug, welcomed the attendees and wished all clubs a successful and fruitful football season. He also reaffirmed the League’s commitment to supporting professional clubs throughout the season and assisting them in overcoming various organizational and competitive challenges.
The president emphasized the importance of coordination and solidarity among all stakeholders to ensure adherence to the championship schedule, especially as this season coincides with an unprecedented density of continental and international competitions.
A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to listening to the concerns and remarks of club presidents and their representatives, in a respectful and constructive discussion that reflects a shared commitment to advancing national football.
Following that, the League’s Secretary General, Mr. Mourad Boussafer, oversaw the draw for the new season’s calendar. Three organizational proposals were presented to the attendees, and the representative of Mouloudia d’Oran drew the third proposal, which was officially adopted as the roadmap for the 2025-2026 football season.
